WiFi Radar - Ubuntu Wireless Application to Configure Connections

WiFi Radar is a sweet Ubuntu Application to set up and configure your wireless connections through an easy, intuitive inferface. This Ubuntu wireless utility is created with Python/pyGTK2, and can scan for available networks and create wireless profiles.

You know, I had the joy of setting up my wireless by hand on my last Linux laptop. It's not fun. This Ubuntu wireless application will save you so much time and allow you to easily transfer from bookstore to coffee shop to school and back.

You can get it really easily from the Ubuntu repository:

sudo apt-get install wifi-radar

Enjoy this Ubuntu wireless application, and tell me what you think in the comments!

mmm...wi-fi radar. it works substantially better than the built-in crap, at least on my finicky Broadcom wireless card.

Yeah I found that the built in wifi support is a little weak. I have been using this (or at least a version of it) since 6.10 on my laptop.
